It's 2012, time to get involved and meet new people!
 
We invite you to join us and learn what we're all about. We meet the second Wednesday and the fourth Tuesday of each month 6:00 pm, usually at the Wine & Spirits Room at Hy-Vee West in Mason City. Occasionally we'll have a speaker or will go on a tour somewhere else, so please email the President to confirm the place... president@masoncityjaycees.com.
 

The Mason City Jaycees invite anyone interested in learning more about the Jaycees to this event on Tuesday, October 18 at 5:15 pm at the Law Enforcement Center (located between Mason City and Clear Lake). This is an introduction to the Jaycees for the Chamber's 2011 Leadership North Iowa Class, but the event is open to the public.
 

In lieu of a regular meeting, the Mason City Jaycees will be meeting at the Historic Park Inn on Tuesday, October 12 at 6:00 pm. The Historic Park Inn is the last remaining hotel designed by famed American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
Learn from a docent the history of the building and the restoration effort put on by Wright On The Park, Inc. the past few years. We'll meet in the lobby, please enter the main doors off of State Street.

Friends of the 457 have asked the Mason City Jaycees to help volunteer some weekends in September and October at the Rotary Cannonball steam locomotive in East Park. A training session for volunteers was held after the regular meeting on September 14. We learned the history of the train and how to run the lights and sounds, as well as the Depot Gift Shop.

Mason City was named the #3 Jaycees Chapter in America at the 2010 National Awards on June 9th, 2011. Congrats to all and keep up the good work!
