Volunteering at The Rotary Cannonball

Friends of the 457 have asked the Mason City Jaycees to help volunteer some weekends in September and October at the Rotary Cannonball steam locomotive in East Park. A training session for volunteers was held after the regular meeting on September 14. We learned the history of the train and how to run the lights and sounds, as well as the Depot Gift Shop.

Jaycees will be there on Saturday, September 24 from 1-5 pm and Sunday, September 25 from 1-5 pm. We are also scheduled to help October 1 and 2 from 1-5 pm, but could use additional volunteers.
