Everest & Beyond - A Cancer Survivor's Story

The Mason City Jaycees invite anyone interested in learning more about the Jaycees to this event on Tuesday, October 18 at 5:15 pm at the Law Enforcement Center (located between Mason City and Clear Lake). This is an introduction to the Jaycees for the Chamber's 2011 Leadership North Iowa Class, but the event is open to the public.
 
Dinner will be provided (subs, chips and pop). Hear from Justin Anderson, brain cancer survivor, about the trip he took this spring to Mt. Everest, where he, and other survivors from Iowa, performed the highest altitute Relay For Life in the world. His story is inspiring... come learn more!
 
Justin is also a 2011 recipient of Outstanding Young Iowans, a recognition from the Iowa Jaycees.
